FireAlerts

Fire Restrictions are implemented by the Forest Service based on the area being impacted, whether a certain district, forest, county or town. RRMofA does not initiate these alerts and restrictions but rather follows Forest Service guidelines. We strive to keep campers updated in a timely manner on the status of the campgrounds we manage. We provide information below as well as posting "banners" at the reservation website: www.recreation.gov

STAGE 1

Minimal effect on ESTABLISHED campgrounds, campfires are allowed within designated fire rings. Wood and charcoal are permitted

STAGE 2

Prohibits all fires, however propane and gas stoves with a shut off valve are permitted. Generators with proper exhaust systems can also be used.

STAGE 3

Campgrounds are closed to visitors. Fire activity may or may not have damaged campgrounds, but can be restricting safe access. Be aware, conditions can change rapidly on a day-by-day basis.
